April Product Updates: Improved Risk Rules and Data Quality
Reading time: 2 minutes
Today we're excited to share new product news with you! These include updates to our Attack Surface Intelligence platform, such as the Risk Rules, Explorer module, and data quality.
Risk Rules updates
In March, we rolled out our Risk Rules beta version, changing the entire way in which ASI highlights and detects potential risks to your infrastructure. Now we're going one step further with the following new features:
Download Issues: This new option lets you export data in CSV format, letting you download the full list of risks for offline processing.
References: Reference links have been added to some of the most popular risks, including links from different sources, like ExploitDB, NIST, RecordedFuture, and others.

Screenshots and Technologies: On the Risk Rules 'Hosts' tab, for any particular host listed there, you'll find additional screenshots of public vulnerabilities, along with their technologies, and open ports:

Explorer enhancements
We've also improved the way we present the information within the ASI Explorer interface by including additional information on technologies, screenshots, and the total number of detected risks when clicked on a port. This makes your pre-visualization of risks even easier while working from the Explorer tab.

We also added a new search filter that lets you filter by hostname, or IPv4 address.

Data quality improvements
With this release we’ve improved our Associated Domains algorithm’s quality by adjusting how we process information, focusing more on WHOIS records. Our data team also worked hard to add additional IOT ports, so you can discover even more exposed services and apps right away.
Conclusion
These new improvements to the ASI platform let you work in a highly efficient environment. Whether by providing more accurate screenshots, identifying newer ports detected from IoT devices, or pivoting around new data from the Risk Rules module, our mission is to help you detect emerging threats from bad actors, in order to prevent any possible damage to your organization.
Take your next step now—see how Attack Surface Intelligence can change the way you detect threats, and mitigate risks effectively.
